Large Requirements! Clarity and resolution are crucial for the end result. A resolution of at least 2048 x 1536 pixels is required for larger formats (120x80 and 150x100) . Exposure, contrast etc are not as important for the base photo. It is also important that the model is facing straight into the camera.
